Amazing place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we felt so well looked after. From the pick up at the airport, the tea and treats on arrival, the beautiful breakfast, the tips and advice about navigating Marrakech, the umbrella which was given to us without asking - that was very much appreciated and such an act of kindness. We even had our postcards delivered to the post box for us. Again, such amazing service going above and beyond. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! The riad itself is beautiful and I enjoyed going for a dip in the swimming pool at the start of the day. Would 100% recommend this place if you are thinking of booking then don't hesitate you won't be disappointed.Posted on Airbnb
Fabien302 days agoSitué au coeur de la Kasbah dans un endroit calme et paisible , un vrai havre de paix à l’écart de l’agitation, nous avons beaucoup apprécié les 4 nuits passées dans ce Riad de très bonne qualité.Petits-déjeuner savoureux et copieux pris sur la terrasse du Riad.Les principaux centres d’intérêts de Marrackech sont accessibles à pieds.La rue de la Kasbah, très animée, est à 5 minutes.Un grand merci à Adel et Youssef qui ont été aux petits soins pour nous et ont fait preuve de beaucoup de souplesse et de gentillesse, ainsi qu’à Jane pour sa réactivité et la qualité de la communication.En résumé, bonne adresse, idéale pour découvrir Marrackech.Je recommande.Posted on Airbnb

Louise552 days agoMy friend and I stayed at Riad Baya for a week.We can not fault the location, hospitality or cleanliness of the Riad. We were looked after well by the two members of staff and they were quick to answer any questions or solve any problems might have. We were even offered an umbrella one morning when it briefly rained.The breakfasts were lovely, everything was prepared fresh and with a smile, the mint tea was delicious.We would not hesitate to recommend that you stay at Janes Place for your visit to Marrakesh.Thank you for a lovely stay.Posted on Airbnb

Amy289 days agoJust back after 4 nights in Riad Baya. Everything was 5 star, particularly the hosts Yousef and Adel who were so kind and attentive, nothing was any trouble. The breakfast were gorgeous, the Riad was very well looked after and clean with beautiful traditional features and furniture. I loved the roof terrace for relaxing and a sunbathing and I even had a dip in the beautiful pool. I also loved the location. Just off Rue de la Kasbah it was like its own friendly little neighbourhood with a few cafes and shops. Close enough to the main Square so walking about was easy. We only got a taxi to Jardin Majorelle, which was well worth a visit. Thank you for helping to create wonderful memories for me and my daughter!Posted on Airbnb
Noor561 days agoWe had a wonderful stay at Riad Baya, which is less than a 20-minute walk to the main square, Jemaa El-Fnaa. The old city of Medina is easy to explore on foot from here. Our hosts, Khalid and Mohammed, were outstanding—always available and ready to assist when needed. The breakfast selection was good, and we also appreciated the complimentary coffee available throughout the day. Khalid a été d’un incroyable secours pendant notre sejour et est particulièrement doux avec les enfants. La cuisine est delicieuse et le menage impeccable. Arne510 days agoHat man die Unterkunft Riad Baya einmal gefunden (die Wegbeschreibung bei GoogleMaps führte uns zu einer anderen Straße in der Nähe. Von dort aus meldeten wir uns bei Mohamed, der uns dann innerhalb von fünf Minuten zu Fuß abholte), dann landet man in einem sehr schönen, kleinen Riad (fünf Wohnungen), das von Mohamed und Adil perfekt geführt wird. Die beiden waren superfreundlich, hilfsbereit, zuvorkommend. Sie haben unsere drei Tage dort perfekt gemacht.Das Riad ist sechs Minuten von den Saadier-Gräbern entfernt und 15 Minuten von dem Djemaa el Fna, also eigentlich perfekt im Süden der Medina gelegen. Da es in einer Seitengasse liegt, ist es sehr ruhig dort.Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, wie auch das ganze Riad. Der Innenhof und die Dachterrasse waren stets leer und nutzbar. Das Frühstück war für marokkanische Verhältnisse sehr reichhaltig, mit Ei, Jogurt, verschiedenen Fladen samt Marmeladen sowie Kapselkaffee.Also Fazit: Trotz des Preises (100€/Nacht/2 Personen) empfehlenswert.Posted on Airbnb

Isabela2371 days agoOur stay at Riad Baya was exceptional! Jane was very nice and communicative, she answered all of my questions (and as a first-time traveler there were many!) most efficiently. The Riad was beyond our expectations, everything was very clean, the staff was extraordinarily helpful and welcoming, all of our needs were attended and the food was amazing! The pool and the rooftop terrace were a dream! We couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you for this experience and I am surely looking forward to going back to Riad Baya as soon as possible!

Jerrely167 days agoOns verblijf bij Riad Baya was van begin tot eind geweldig verzorgd. Al vóór aankomst verliep de communicatie met Jane heel prettig en duidelijk, waardoor alles soepel geregeld was en we ontspannen aan onze reis konden beginnen. De accommodatie zelf is prachtig, maar wat deze riad écht bijzonder maakt is het uiterst vriendelijke en gastvrije personeel. In het bijzonder willen we Adel, Hamouda en Mohammed bedanken. Elke dag stonden zij met een grote glimlach voor ons klaar, hielpen ons met alles wat we nodig hadden en zorgden ervoor dat we ons direct thuis voelden. Elke ochtend genoten we van een heerlijk verzorgd ontbijt op het dakterras, een perfect begin van de dag. Dankzij de persoonlijke aandacht en warme service hebben wij een onvergetelijk verblijf gehad. Wij zouden Riad Baya zonder twijfel aan iedereen aanraden!Posted on Airbnb

Julia610 days agoWe organized our airport pick-up via Jane and it all went very well. We were picked up and brought to the Riad. Check-in was very nice with tea and sweet treats - we felt very welcomed right away.Khalif and Mohammed took very good care of us dring our stay - thanks a million for accommodating our requests, organizing trips, answering our many questions, and prepping an amazing breakfast every day.The Riad is just beautiful, very peaceful and the location is good, many main sights are in easy walking distance. Riad Baya is the most incredible place with the most incredible people. The entire staff takes such great care of you for every meal, recommendation, setting up tours, and anything else you may need during your stay. Coleen kerchner923 days agoRaid Baya is an awesome place to stay. The staff is absolutely amazing. We loved them all. The house is very clean and modern and beautifully Moroccan! Would stay here again, hope to some day! The culture there is so interesting and the driver and owner were so knowledgeable. They added so much with their stories and information of everything we saw! It was special to know the best Moroccan places to visit because of them! My only complaint is that 14 days is not enough time in paradise! The terrace was my favorite place to be!Posted on Google

When we stepped inside, we were greeted first by a welcome board greeting us with our names. When we ventured a bit further and took in the vibrant Moroccan mosaic tiles, lush courtyard, sparkling pool and corners so comfy we wanted to sink in and stay a long while. It’s like a hidden treasure chest right in the heart of the city! Jane and Mokhtar have thought of everything your heart desires to do, and when we went almost everything was included in the price of our tour. We were met at the airport and transported into wonderland! Jane’s house team are absolute legends! They always had warm smiles, showed genuine hospitality, and went out of their way to make sure our stay was smooth and special. The rooms are seriously inviting! The soft beds, mood lighting, and gorgeous decor made us feel like we living in a Moroccan daydream. And don’t get me started on the meals! Everything was so fresh, delicious, and served with extra flair that I still dream about them. The Medina is right around the corner, so adventure is always within reach. Whether you want to lounge in the courtyard with mint tea or hit the city’s bustling streets, this riad is the perfect. Jane and Mokhtar have a program of excursions that will be the highlights of your trip (High Atlas mountains, Sahara desert, tent camp, etc.). They also have wonderful recommendations for unforgettable sights and great restaurants right in the area (Majorelle Garden, YSL and Berber Museums for example). A tuk-tuk is readily available to transport you to any place you desire. If you crave a real taste of Marrakech, Riad Baya is exactly where you want to be.+10Posted on Google

Pam White137 days agoRiad Baya is in the perfect location within the walls of the old city. The house staff are amazing; they are attentive, caring and are eager to please. We loved the rooftop - we had some meals there, played MANY card games there and welcomed the new year in there. Sahara Tours thought of everything and staying in Riad Baya was one of the best parts of our 2 week stay in Morocco. If I were to go to Marrakech again, I would only want to stay at Riad Baya and I would have Sahara Tours do all the planning. Our family of five (grown children) were very appreciative of our accomodations and the wonderful house staff.Posted on Google

The food was amazing and the staff friendly and attentive. BOB BUCK134 days agoWe can't say enough about our November stay at the Riad and the Morrocan tour that they organized for the four of us - 2 brothers and spouses. From the first planning meeting with Jane (she left no question unanswered) we knew that we were in for a wonderful adventure through Morocco. Our guide, Mokhtar, met us on arrival and, while he gave us plenty of private space over the next 2 weeks, magically appeared to make arrangements or introductions along our travels. A man of infinite talents and great warmth. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Riad in Marrakesh. The staff anticipated our every need and easily balanced the personal and professsional relationships. The rooms were comfortable, the meals were excelllent (we had the great fortune to participate in prepping a couple with their wonderful cook, Fatna) and the location was convenient for exploring Marrakech. Mohammed und Adil waren hervorragende, aufmerksame und freundliche Gastgeber. Das Frühstück war gut und reichlich. Daher halte ich die 100€/Nacht für angemessen.Posted on Google
saadbouh hassanna574 days agoI recently spent a wonderful weekend at Riad Baya, and it truly exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, khalid the co host was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home. The room I stayed in was beautifully designed, blending traditional moroccan elements with a modern touch. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless, equipped with everything I needed. What I appreciated the most was the serene atmosphere within the riad, despite being situated in the heart of the old city. The breakfast was a delightful experience, with a variety of Moroccan pastries, local honey, olives,organic eggs ;) , fresh orange juice, and traditional Moroccan tea. The inner courtyard with its swimming pool was the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. I also spent some peaceful moments on the rooftop terrace, where I enjoyed watching the sunset with a stunning view of the Atlas Mountains. The riad's location is ideal for those who enjoy exploring on foot. It took me around 15-20 minutes to walk to Jemaa el-Fna square, which gave me the chance to wander through the charming streets of the old town along the way. Riad Baya is a perfect looking for a blend of comfort and authentic Moroccan charm. The excellent service, peaceful ambiance, and beautiful facilities made my stay truly memorable. I will definitely stay here again during my next visit to Marrakech.
