Jerrely208 days agoOns verblijf bij Riad Baya was van begin tot eind geweldig verzorgd. Al vóór aankomst verliep de communicatie met Jane heel prettig en duidelijk, waardoor alles soepel geregeld was en we ontspannen aan onze reis konden beginnen. De accommodatie zelf is prachtig, maar wat deze riad écht bijzonder maakt is het uiterst vriendelijke en gastvrije personeel. In het bijzonder willen we Adel, Hamouda en Mohammed bedanken. Elke dag stonden zij met een grote glimlach voor ons klaar, hielpen ons met alles wat we nodig hadden en zorgden ervoor dat we ons direct thuis voelden. Elke ochtend genoten we van een heerlijk verzorgd ontbijt op het dakterras, een perfect begin van de dag. Dankzij de persoonlijke aandacht en warme service hebben wij een onvergetelijk verblijf gehad. Wij zouden Riad Baya zonder twijfel aan iedereen aanraden!Posted on Airbnb

This Airbnb was one of the highlights of my trip. Beautiful riad. Only downsides are the location isn’t the most convenient (but can’t fault them for that) and the shower pressure was quite low. The shower also sprayed quite a bit outside the shower area. But the bed was comfortable, room was a good size, breakfast was good. Host was super nice and welcoming. Good experiencePosted on Airbnb

Check-in was very nice with tea and sweet treats - we felt very welcomed right away.Khalif and Mohammed took very good care of us dring our stay - thanks a million for accommodating our requests, organizing trips, answering our many questions, and prepping an amazing breakfast every day.The Riad is just beautiful, very peaceful and the location is good, many main sights are in easy walking distance. Nicholas1022 days agoI loved the stay here. Beautiful 5-bedroom Riad in a quieter part of the Marrakech Medina with a fun rooftop area to hang. The host team (two whom were on-call at the Riad during the day and prepared breakfast each morning) was attentive and helpful for local activities, breakfasts and dinners at the Riad, and transportation. The bedrooms were simple but spacious. Situated in a quiet part of the Medina but within walking distance of all the attractions -- but in the main part of the city, so still very busy!Posted on Airbnb

Sue2848 days agoWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Riad Baya. It is very convenient to the airport. We had a guide and a driver take us to all of our locations, so I cannot speak to its walking distance from the various locations. The five bedrooms are beautifully decorated and the beds are comfortable. We did not use the pool as it was too cold, but it is lovely.We ate two dinners in the Riad and they were easily the best meals we had during our week in Morocco. Mustapha, the property manager was delightful and was able to accommodate all of our needs, including gluten free breakfasts for one of our daughters. Es ist eine Oase der Ruhe im hektischen Marrakesh. Adel hat es möglich gemacht, dass wir schon früh morgens einchecken konnten, das war klasse! Zur Begrüßung gab es dann Tee und sehr feine Kekse. Als wir einen Tag ganz früh für einen Ausflug aufbrechen mussten, haben wir morgens sogar ein kleines Paket mit Essen mitbekommen - toller Service und nicht selbstverständlich. Man merkt hier einfach die Gastfreundschaft des ganzen Teams. Wir waren im Riad Baya sehr zufrieden und haben die guten Gerüche, das weiche Bett und die dicken Bettdecken sehr zu schätzen gewusst.Posted on Airbnb

Marie-Pierre903 days agoAccueil de Moktar et échanges très sympathiques. Notre 1ère réaction dès notre entrée dans le riad "wahou". Fidèle aux photos même mieux. Tout est beau. Environnement calme. Le personnel est très sympathique, discret, serviable, disponible, de bons conseils. A notre demande Moustapha et Khalid, 2 garçons exceptionnels, nous ont organisé notre séjour (visites avec guide, balades quad, buggy, dromadaire, excursion, massage, henné à domicile pour mes petites-filles, etc)Ils avaient décoré la terrasse pour l'anniversaire de ma fille et à notre demande nous avaient prévu gâteau et champagne. Nous ne pouvons que tarir d'éloges ces 2 personnes. Merci à Khalid qui a eu beaucoup de patience avec un de mes petits-fils (4 ans) qui s'était pris d'affection pour lui. Marie715 days agoOn a passé un incroyable sejour ! L’emplacement dans la kasbah est parfait, et en même temps l’endroit est très calme et silencieux, propice à des belles nuits. Khalid a été d’un incroyable secours pendant notre sejour et est particulièrement doux avec les enfants. La cuisine est delicieuse et le menage impeccable. Hele personalet var så venlige, hjælpsomme og var villige til at gøre ekstra ved behov.Man blev tildelt en person, som skulle guide og hjælpe en ved ophold. Julie344 days agoThis is a great little ground floor room in a beautiful Riad. There is a lovely little pool in the courtyard which is great for a cool off on a hot day. The top floor terrace is also lovely and great place to have breakfast, sunbathe or just chill. The staff were all great, with a special mention to Adel who was brilliant throughout our stay. It was in a great location for walking into the main area and the Riad really peaceful and relaxing. The breakfasts were a real treat for us! Le Riad est magnifique, nous avons été bien accueillies par les employés, les chambres sont toutes très agréables avec de belles salles de bains, très bon emplacement dans le quartier Kasbah à 2min à pied des tombeaux saadiens et de la mosquée Moulay El Yazid. La piscine au rez-de-chaussée est exceptionnelle tout comme les petits déjeuners et les plats cuisinés par Fatima! Je vous recommande ce Riad pour passer un beau séjour à MarrakechPosted on Airbnb

We rented the entire five-bedroom riad, and it was the perfect setup for us.The riad itself is beautiful. The courtyard and pool are so peaceful, the rooms are comfortable, and we loved relaxing on the rooftop terrace after a day exploring Marrakech. It truly felt like our own private oasis in the middle of the city.A special thank you to Jane, who was incredibly helpful before and during our stay. She helped us plan activities and organize our time in Marrakech, which made everything so much easier. Her recommendations and assistance were greatly appreciated.One of the highlights of our stay was the dinner the staff prepared for us at the riad. Arne551 days agoHat man die Unterkunft Riad Baya einmal gefunden (die Wegbeschreibung bei GoogleMaps führte uns zu einer anderen Straße in der Nähe. Von dort aus meldeten wir uns bei Mohamed, der uns dann innerhalb von fünf Minuten zu Fuß abholte), dann landet man in einem sehr schönen, kleinen Riad (fünf Wohnungen), das von Mohamed und Adil perfekt geführt wird. Die beiden waren superfreundlich, hilfsbereit, zuvorkommend. Sie haben unsere drei Tage dort perfekt gemacht.Das Riad ist sechs Minuten von den Saadier-Gräbern entfernt und 15 Minuten von dem Djemaa el Fna, also eigentlich perfekt im Süden der Medina gelegen. Da es in einer Seitengasse liegt, ist es sehr ruhig dort.Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, wie auch das ganze Riad. Der Innenhof und die Dachterrasse waren stets leer und nutzbar. Das Frühstück war für marokkanische Verhältnisse sehr reichhaltig, mit Ei, Jogurt, verschiedenen Fladen samt Marmeladen sowie Kapselkaffee.Also Fazit: Trotz des Preises (100€/Nacht/2 Personen) empfehlenswert.Posted on Airbnb
Louise593 days agoMy friend and I stayed at Riad Baya for a week.We can not fault the location, hospitality or cleanliness of the Riad. We were looked after well by the two members of staff and they were quick to answer any questions or solve any problems might have. We were even offered an umbrella one morning when it briefly rained.The breakfasts were lovely, everything was prepared fresh and with a smile, the mint tea was delicious.We would not hesitate to recommend that you stay at Janes Place for your visit to Marrakesh.Thank you for a lovely stay.Posted on Airbnb

Job941 days agoFantastisch! Aangekomen in Marrakech (old town) was het lastig de weg te kunnen vinden. Gelukkig kwam Moustafa ons halen en hij gaf ons gelijk een warm welkom. Verblijf was top en kamers waren schoon. Moustafa was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam en stond altijd voor ons klaar. Ontbijt was meer dan perfect.Conclusie: fijne riad on met een grote groep te zitten. Je zit wel in old town waar de straten erg druk zijn. De riad zelf zit in een rustig straatje, weinig lawaai. The Riad itself is lovely and ideally located—close enough to the markets for easy access, yet tucked away just enough to offer a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle. From the minute we booked, Jane was super responsive and helpful with travel from the airport, ideas of what to do while we were in Marrakech, etc. Once we arrived at the Riad we were introduced to the Riad staff who were all so amazing. Khalid and Mostafa were not only incredibly helpful in making our stay comfortable and enjoyable, but they were also incredible people. Fatna made an fantastic breakfast every morning which we appreciated. Amine, the driver made us feel safe on all our adventures and was such a nice person to get to know as well. The Riad itself was amazing and lived up to the beautiful photos provided on the listing. For us, this was more than just a Riad, but was an incredible experience staying in a beautiful place, with amazing staff who helped us see all the cool things Marrakech has to offer while still feeling safe. 10/10 would recommend!Posted on Airbnb
Leanne728 days agoWe loved our stay at Riad Baya.It’s a gorgeous sanctuary in a great location slightly away from the hustle of the square but still very walkable.We loved our room - nice linen and comfortable beds plus great bathroom. It was also nice to use the other shared areas such as the courtyard with pool and rooftop terrace. Everything is beautifully done.We enjoyed a delicious dinner in the terrace one night while the sunset - recommended if you have the time and are spending a few daysThe final element making our stay relaxing and memorable were the staff - particularly Khalid the manager.
