Very beautiful Riad, you can tell that someone with impeccable taste has equipped it. You feel immediately at home. The Riad is served by an empathic and discrete team that makes fantastic breakfast and dinners (on the rooftop!). Located in the Kasvbah quarter in the Medina (= Old City) of Marrakesh. You can't go there by taxi, you have to walk a bit through narrow lanes that are souited only for pedestrians. But that does not matter at all. Very good rooms, beds, bathrooms. Laura2426 days agoThis charming riad is an oasis of calm amongst the bustling streets of Marrakesh. It is clean, quiet and comfortable. We had a wonderful time, Mustapha was helpful and put on the most amazing breakfast every morning. The pool looked very inviting but be warned, it is freezing! Job921 days agoFantastisch! Aangekomen in Marrakech (old town) was het lastig de weg te kunnen vinden. Gelukkig kwam Moustafa ons halen en hij gaf ons gelijk een warm welkom. Verblijf was top en kamers waren schoon. Moustafa was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam en stond altijd voor ons klaar. Ontbijt was meer dan perfect.Conclusie: fijne riad on met een grote groep te zitten. Je zit wel in old town waar de straten erg druk zijn. De riad zelf zit in een rustig straatje, weinig lawaai. Leanne708 days agoWe loved our stay at Riad Baya.It’s a gorgeous sanctuary in a great location slightly away from the hustle of the square but still very walkable.We loved our room - nice linen and comfortable beds plus great bathroom. It was also nice to use the other shared areas such as the courtyard with pool and rooftop terrace. Everything is beautifully done.We enjoyed a delicious dinner in the terrace one night while the sunset - recommended if you have the time and are spending a few daysThe final element making our stay relaxing and memorable were the staff - particularly Khalid the manager. Jamie209 days agoAmazing place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we felt so well looked after. From the pick up at the airport, the tea and treats on arrival, the beautiful breakfast, the tips and advice about navigating Marrakech, the umbrella which was given to us without asking - that was very much appreciated and such an act of kindness. We even had our postcards delivered to the post box for us. Again, such amazing service going above and beyond. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! The riad itself is beautiful and I enjoyed going for a dip in the swimming pool at the start of the day. Desislava196 days agoWe had a wonderful stay at this riad in Marrakech. Adel was an amazing host—kind, responsive, and very helpful.We were warmly welcomed with traditional tea and Moroccan sweets. They allowed us early check-in before 3 PM and a slightly late check-out due to our late flight, which made everything much easier.The food was delicious—great breakfasts every morning and a romantic dinner on the rooftop terrace. The room was clean, cozy, with working AC and a fully functional bathroom.Special thanks to Moktar—always welcoming us in the evening and bringing breakfast with a smile, even when we woke up late.Highly recommended! Paul1279 days agoAs is, I suspect, the case with most riads listed on airbnb this is a bit more like a hotel (daily room cleaning, someone present at the facility all day, tipping) than my typical experience. That being said, the people working there are willing to strike the balance with as much or little engagement as works for you and given my lack of familiarity with Morocco I thought it was a good thing. Danguole1808 days agoPuikus riadas, labai malonūs ir paslaugūs ten dirbantys žmonės, net per didžiausius karščius viduje yra vėsu, pirmame aukšte yra nedidelis , bet atsigaivinti pakankamas baseinas, kuriame vanduo išleka šaltas, o perdaug atvėsus apačioje galima pasišildyti terasoje ant stogo. Paprašius mums iškepė grilių terasoje ir surengė puikią vakarienę. Miegamuose kambariuose irgi pakankamai vėsu, nes nėra į gatvę išeinančių langų. Taip pat gana tylu. Vienintelis trūkumas - riadas nuo centrinės gatvės prieinamas per siauras gatveles, per kurias neprivažiuoja taksi, tad jei yra problemų su kojomis, gali būti truputį sunkiau, o jei ne, tai atstumas paeiti yra nedidelis.Posted on Airbnb
Teodelina861 days agoJane has been -by far- the greatest host on earth. The riad was our family’s oasis in a chaotic but fun and charming Marrakesh. Half of my shopping was me trying to recreate Jane’s decoration. And don’t even grt me started on the service and food!!! Khalid, Mustafa and Fatma were so kind and welcoming, we’re definitely staying there again -as soon as we can-. A marvelleus experience, once in a lifetime. They encouraged us to make ourselves truly at home, attended to every detail, and accommodated our requests quickly and thoughtfully. They made my 35th birthday completely unforgettable. Not only did they help arrange for a cake, but they also decorated and added other surprises for me! Sue2828 days agoWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Riad Baya. It is very convenient to the airport. We had a guide and a driver take us to all of our locations, so I cannot speak to its walking distance from the various locations. The five bedrooms are beautifully decorated and the beds are comfortable. We did not use the pool as it was too cold, but it is lovely.We ate two dinners in the Riad and they were easily the best meals we had during our week in Morocco. Mustapha, the property manager was delightful and was able to accommodate all of our needs, including gluten free breakfasts for one of our daughters. Les chambres et salle de bain sont grandes et spacieuses . Piscine très propre . Service au top ! Situation idéale ( 15 min à pied de la place jemma el fna) et au milieu d un très bon quartier ( la Kasbah ) tout en étant calme et reposant . Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir . Noor582 days agoWe had a wonderful stay at Riad Baya, which is less than a 20-minute walk to the main square, Jemaa El-Fnaa. The old city of Medina is easy to explore on foot from here. Our hosts, Khalid and Mohammed, were outstanding—always available and ready to assist when needed. The breakfast selection was good, and we also appreciated the complimentary coffee available throughout the day. From the minute we booked, Jane was super responsive and helpful with travel from the airport, ideas of what to do while we were in Marrakech, etc. Once we arrived at the Riad we were introduced to the Riad staff who were all so amazing. Khalid and Mostafa were not only incredibly helpful in making our stay comfortable and enjoyable, but they were also incredible people. Fatna made an fantastic breakfast every morning which we appreciated. Amine, the driver made us feel safe on all our adventures and was such a nice person to get to know as well. The Riad itself was amazing and lived up to the beautiful photos provided on the listing. For us, this was more than just a Riad, but was an incredible experience staying in a beautiful place, with amazing staff who helped us see all the cool things Marrakech has to offer while still feeling safe. 10/10 would recommend!Posted on Airbnb

Le Riad est magnifique, nous avons été bien accueillies par les employés, les chambres sont toutes très agréables avec de belles salles de bains, très bon emplacement dans le quartier Kasbah à 2min à pied des tombeaux saadiens et de la mosquée Moulay El Yazid. Only downsides are the location isn’t the most convenient (but can’t fault them for that) and the shower pressure was quite low. The shower also sprayed quite a bit outside the shower area. The Riad itself is lovely and ideally located—close enough to the markets for easy access, yet tucked away just enough to offer a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle. We rented the entire five-bedroom riad, and it was the perfect setup for us.The riad itself is beautiful. The courtyard and pool are so peaceful, the rooms are comfortable, and we loved relaxing on the rooftop terrace after a day exploring Marrakech. It truly felt like our own private oasis in the middle of the city.A special thank you to Jane, who was incredibly helpful before and during our stay. Arne531 days agoHat man die Unterkunft Riad Baya einmal gefunden (die Wegbeschreibung bei GoogleMaps führte uns zu einer anderen Straße in der Nähe. Von dort aus meldeten wir uns bei Mohamed, der uns dann innerhalb von fünf Minuten zu Fuß abholte), dann landet man in einem sehr schönen, kleinen Riad (fünf Wohnungen), das von Mohamed und Adil perfekt geführt wird. Die beiden waren superfreundlich, hilfsbereit, zuvorkommend. Sie haben unsere drei Tage dort perfekt gemacht.Das Riad ist sechs Minuten von den Saadier-Gräbern entfernt und 15 Minuten von dem Djemaa el Fna, also eigentlich perfekt im Süden der Medina gelegen. Da es in einer Seitengasse liegt, ist es sehr ruhig dort.Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, wie auch das ganze Riad. Der Innenhof und die Dachterrasse waren stets leer und nutzbar. Das Frühstück war für marokkanische Verhältnisse sehr reichhaltig, mit Ei, Jogurt, verschiedenen Fladen samt Marmeladen sowie Kapselkaffee.Also Fazit: Trotz des Preises (100€/Nacht/2 Personen) empfehlenswert.Posted on Airbnb

The Riad was beyond our expectations, everything was very clean, the staff was extraordinarily helpful and welcoming, all of our needs were attended and the food was amazing! The pool and the rooftop terrace were a dream! We couldn’t have asked for more.
